A Busy Day

I was so busy today! It seems that we do not have enough time to do everything that we need to do. I usually try to stay in the afternoons; however, I had to attend class at UNCP. I was glad to hear my colleagues talk about some of the same issues that are occurring at my internship. For example, classroom management is something that takes a lot of work. Sometimes I feel like I am saying the same thing repeatedly. On the bright side, I taught a math lesson today on more than. I was surprised at how well the students caught on and at how well behaved they were. I used manipulatives during my lesson and I let the students know that if they played with them, I would take them away from them. I think that helped with behavior. I hope the students continue to listen during my lessons!
